Allergy To Yeast

It is a common sight that several people suffer from allergies of various nature. Allergy can cause from food stuff you consume, through air pollution and other unhygienic conditions in the environment and affect different organs of the human beings. Among these allergies, the allergy caused by yeast is more prevalent today and poses a health concern for many people.

There exist two main causes for the yeast allergy. One cause arises from the food we consume which contains yeast like the bread, wine and beer. The second cause of yeast allergy is due to the yeast infection in the body and is known as Candidasis. One can control yeast allergy by avoiding the food stuff which contain yeast in the first case. To face the second cause of yeast allergy is to clear out the infection. Candidasis is caused by a micro organism called the Candida albicans which belongs to the fungus family. Candida which is usually found in the human beings as well as animals is found to be balanced in the body.  The yeast allergy occurs when this micro organism grows more than enough required in the body and result in symptoms of yeast allergy. The symptoms can manifest in the form of indigestion, constipation, fatigue, vomiting etc. It renders difficult for the physician to test the over growth of candida, but can be decided based on the number of symptoms and the severity of the same in the patient. The over growth of candida can happen in people who are under medication with antibiotics or with sterioids, people  who are  diabetics, excessive consumption of sweets, soda and fruit juices. The best way to avoid overgrowth of Candida is avoiding food containing yeast and sugar and certain carbohydrates.

Allergy To Yeast

There exists no treatment for the allergy due to yeast. Just like any other allergy, when you get suffer from the allergy, the only possible way is to lessen the severity of the symptoms through  making modifications in your diet containing yeast and avoiding getting exposed to sources having yeast. There are a few tips which can be followed as guidance to avoid the allergy due to yeast:

  • Avoid food stuff that contains yeast. The canned foods must be consumed early and do not keep it opened.
  • Eliminate the foods that are left over.
  • Try to avoid drugs that contain penicillin as far as possible.
  • Try to discard red meat in your diet.
  • Reduce the consumption of sugar and sugar related products.
