Dust mites are basically mites that are caused but accumulation of dust in a place. The problem is that dust mites can cause health problems. Many people are allergic to the mites' droppings. Whether the mites are dead or alive they have an adverse effect on human beings.

Allergic rhinitis is another condition that is caused but the mites and can cause sinuses and an inflamed, swollen nose, with the dust mite allergy symptoms including a runny nose, coughs, watery eyes, itchy eyes, headaches and sneezing. Unfortunately the reactions worsen with time and the person suffering from the mites' allergy gets worse with time. More exposure to the mites triggers worse reaction. Therefore efforts should be made to eliminate or limit exposure.

An allergy in most times is confused for a common flu. The initial dust mites allergy symptoms are similar to flu and it can be very difficult to tell the difference.

By keeping the house clean you keep away the dust mite and keep away the dust mite allergic symptoms. Regular vacuuming of carpets and laundering of bedding can help. Also using house dust mite spray to reduce the dust mite is recommended.
